It wasn’t long ago that all sectors and global markets seemed to be heading in the same direction, up. Today, we’re seeing opportunity in some sectors and uncertainty in many others. We’ll be joined by three experienced Global Heads of Research from major investment firms to share how they approach real estate, research, and markets around the globe, bringing together often disparate data, opinions, and cultures to form effective strategies.
Simon Mallinson, Income Analytics COO will moderate the discussion with London based Global Heads of Research, Simon Durkin from BlackRock and Sabina Reeves from CBRE IM, and Chicago based Global Head of Research Brian Klinksiek from LaSalle IM.

NFI-ODCE and CORE FUNDS AROUND THE WORLD
The NCREIF Fund Index - Open End Diversified Core Equity (NFI-ODCE) index has grown in the past twenty years to be the gold standard for fund benchmarking, not only here in the States, but with impacts and implications around the world.
In this session, Mark Roberts first helps us explore how we got here with our NFI-ODCE Index. Mark is Managing Director of Research at Crow Holdings, and more importantly (for us at NCREIF anyway), one of the prime drivers of the creation of the NFI-ODCE index. He then moderates a panel discussion about similarities and differences of core funds around the world. Further, he asks how investors can execute their strategies in different regions.

GEOPOLITICS with FRANK KELLY
It has been said that timing is everything, and with the U.S. elections a mere three weeks away, the timing couldn't be better for us to welcome Frank Kelly to our Fall Conference. Frank is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fulcrum Macro Advisors, a political risk advisory firm based in Washington, D.C. He also serves as the Senior Political Strategist for DWS.
You may remember Frank from our Conference in D.C. back in 2019. He brings to the stage his views on U.S. policy, geopolitical trends, and perhaps can give us some context for these seemingly turbulent times.
