What we do
Commercial Real Estate Performance Data and Indices - NCREIF is the leading provider of investment performance indices and transparent data for US commercial properties. Data Contributor Members submit data to NCREIF for inclusion in its various indices and data products.
Member Conferences - Members come together two times each year during NCREIF Conferences, and several times between conferences via Webinar to share information and address vital industry issues in a collegial environment. Much of this sharing takes place during NCREIF's Standing Committee Meetings which are open to all members of NCREIF - Accounting, Farmland, Information Management, Investors, Performance Measurement, Research, Sustainability, Timberland and Valuation.
Industry Education - The NCREIF Academy offers industry-specific courses developed and taught by NCREIF Members. The Academy offers a Professional Certificate in Institutional Real Estate which provides a unique opportunity for professionals pursuing a career in institutional real estate investment.
Industry Standards - NCREIF is the original author of the NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards (RS). The RS is still co-sponsored by NCREIF and PREA, and NCREIF's Standing Committees work closely with the Reporting Standards Council to update the RS Manuals, Guidelines, Checklists and other documents.
