NCREIF Conferences and Events
NCREIF Conferences
- NCREIF Conferences are open to members only, which means any employee of a member firm may attend. There are 2 conferences each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall, typically attended by up to 600 people. NCREIF members follow a very strict no-marketing policy during conferences. The purpose of the conference is to allow members to meet with their peers in a collegiate setting to exchange ideas and form industry relationships. In addition to topical General Sessions, NCREIF has several discipline-specific standing committees and focus groups that meet during conferences such as:
- Accounting
- Farmland
- Information Management
- Investors (aka Plan Sponsors)
- Performance Measurement
- Reporting Standards
- Research
- Sustainability
- Timberland
- Valuation
